This was the first Pro event of 2008.  Some of the best pro's in the world including Jeremy Hogg from Australia and myself went head to head in the heat of Hawaii.  Unfortunately i tore my bicep in the second event but was never out of the game.  After 4 more painful events i had secured enough points to move past fellow aussie Jeremy and go through to the finals.  I was the only foreign international to be in the finals.  After a heavy 60 000 pound truck pull my bicep was swollen black and extreamly painful.  Atlas stones were the last event of the day and I was not going to stop, after 4 stones by bicep gave way and i was unable to complete the final 2 stones putting me out of the top 3.

It was a great event and i will be back next year to claim victory.

The best Australia has to offer will be in Lismore to go head to head in the first Australian stron man event of 2008. 

The very best in America go head to head to see who will be crowned Americas strongest man 2008.

After 2 days of extreme competition a new Americas strongest man was crowned,  Jason Krystal was in fine form and claimed the title of Americas strongest man 2008.  It was a very close competition with only inches and seconds seperating athletes in each event.
